Music has long been an essential part of worship at St. Peter's, and our Parish Choirs carry that tradition forward with skill, dedication, and joy. By leading worship, singing great sacred music, and serving the wider community through concerts and special services, our choirs help proclaim the Gospel in a uniquely powerful way.

The Parish Choir
The Parish Choir of St. Peter's, known formally as the St. Peter's Choir, is the principal choir for our Sunday morning worship and a cornerstone of the church's musical life. Composed of dedicated volunteer singers and members of the professional St. Peter's Singers, the choir leads congregational worship at the 10:30 a.m. service each Sunday, as well as major feast days, concerts, and other special liturgies throughout the year.
Drawing from centuries of sacred music, the choir's repertoire spans plainsong, Renaissance polyphony, Anglican masters, and contemporary compositions. Alongside its commitment to preserving the rich heritage of church music, the choir actively supports the work of living composers through commissions and premieres, helping to ensure that the tradition of sacred choral music continues to grow and flourish for future generations.

Choristers
Using a progressive training scheme that values the intelligence and vocal ability of young people, the St. Peter’s Choristers strive to make music at the highest level. Through fine choral music, the Choristers learn how to make music with their voices and the basics of music theory. Singing in this choir fosters self-esteem as the Choristers find the ability to make music from the printed page. The Choristers appear alongside the Parish Choir at services many times throughout the year. This Choir is affiliated with the Royal School of Church Music.
- Open to young people ages 8 (7 for advanced readers) through high school.

The St. Peter's Singers
The St. Peter's Singers is a professional ensemble of sixteen accomplished choral musicians that serves as the cornerstone of St. Peter's renowned Choral Evensong ministry. Drawn from some of the region's finest singers, the ensemble offers music of exceptional artistry and spiritual depth, helping to sustain a tradition of Anglican worship that has become a hallmark of the parish. In addition, the St. Peter's Singers contribute to the musical leadership of the Parish Choir and participate in concerts, recordings, and special musical projects.
